Meditation

Spirit of the Lake Yoga in Exelsior is offering free meditation programs during the COVID19 stay at home order. Enjoy guided meditation for stress, for the heart and for kids. Each take six to ten minutes. Try them!

Landmark and Museum tours

Most travel plans are on hold for a while during the coronavirus pandemic. To pass the time after working from home with the kids or for a fun digital happy hour with friends, take a vacation without ever leaving your couch. Numerous world-class destinations and man-made marvels offer virtual tours that you can take online while you are social distancing. The other benefit? It’s free.

Concerts

While sites like Stageit have been offering up livestream shows for less-known artists for years, the loss of road time has inspired some acts to look for a new, temporary way to bond with fans until a return to normal. Check out our ever-expanding list of shows and musical events to stream from the comfort of your home.

Cooking classes

Interested in learning a little southwest cooking? Santa Fe School of Cooking is offering free video demostrations by their chefs. Keep cooking!

Beading

Every Tuesday, 1 p.m. a free gathering of beaders meets at the center. Until the center reopens, get ideas or instruction for beginner projects you might like to try.
